Jessica Kahn Wichmann received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art History and Photography from University of Colorado, Boulder. This education provided a solid foundation for her visual acuity and served as a catalyst for her work as a designer. A native of the East Coast, Jessica returned to Philadelphia to pursue her Master of Science in Interior Design at Drexel University. She graduated with honors in 1996.
While her education exposed to her the latest in modern architecture and design, her work experience on the East Coast was steeped in a culture that idealized traditional styles of classical furniture and design. Combined with work experience in design firms on the West Coast, Jessica comfortably works in a variety of styles.
Jessica is devoted to making her clients love not only the finished project, but the process as well.She brings creativity, ingenuity and a wholesome approach to a design project.
While primarily focused on mid- to hi-end residential work, Jessica's skill set also flourishes in boutique commercial applications. She has overseen projects in the Bay Area, Los Angeles as well as Arizona and the East Coast.
Efraim Wichmann was raised in Oeschingen, Germany and moved to the United States in 1990.He earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Temple University in Philadelphia in 1998 and was the recipient of several notable architectural design awards, including the Stewardson Award.
In 1999 Efraim moved to Santa Rosa, California, where he worked for commercial architecture firms before joining Jessica with Zeitgeist in 2003. Efraim has focused primarily on high-end residential design.His work has included several residences from ground up, as well as an interesting variety of renovations and additions.He recently designed a super modern, cutting-edge office building in Arizona.While he is currently working on his licensure, Zeitgeist is in dialogue to take on a licensed partner to focus on commercial projects such as wineries.
Efraim brings fresh and uncompromised design to all of his projects, very much in keeping with the Zeitgeist, or spirit of the times.He provides hands-on service from the first interview through completion of the project.His clients feel that their desires and concerns are taken seriously and that they have a true advocate on their side.His quirky sense of humor (although sometimes lost in translation) will amuse you, while his diligence and availability throughout the entire process of your project will put you at ease.
