This project consisted of a substantial interior and exterior renovation. Our client wanted to preserve some of the unique architectural language of the existing building while updating the fixtures and finishes, opening up the floor plan, and enlarging the kitchen. We removed the heavily textured and brightly colored interiors and created a quiet, sophisticated palate, using beautiful, custom-crafted products and finishes. A suspended steel fireplace serves as la piece de la resistance. Outside, we reorganized the deck stairs and added a new entry roof and lighted awning.
