TAYLOR MOUNTAIN TOUCH-UP

This elegant home featured an original kitchen -- beautifully done for its day, but in need of some TLC with age. We shifted appliance locations to provide more a ergonomic work triangle, yet avoiding costly plumbing and structural alterations. We removed cumbersome soffits and some wall framing that impeded the flow, allowing for a more open and airy environment.

A once-awkward corner that disrupted the kitchen’s functionality and visual harmony was replaced with a sleek, wraparound wine and coffee bar, seamlessly integrating style with utility. The dark cabinetry and countertops were swapped for fresh, light materials that evoke a sense of renewal. The rich, refinished flooring serves as a refined contrast, adding an element of sophistication and balance to the room.
