WEST COUNTY COLORFUL FARMHOUSE

Generations of owners had added their personal touches to this turn of the century farmhouse, which made it an interesting medley to untangle when its current owners asked us to assist with a whole-house remodel. We started by enlarging the tiny kitchen and opening up small spaces to improve the flow of the house. We raised the ceilings, added a master bath suite on the second floor, and added numerous windows. We also added custom cabinetry in nearly every room and outfitted a previously inaccessible attic space with closets concealed behind wainscoting. This artistic family was enchanted by color – a thread apparent throughout the home, inside and out! The new home is bright, airy, and infused with a laid-back Sonoma style that is refined, while refusing to take itself too seriously.
